Brad McCallum P.Ag. – Executive Director
Since graduating from the NSAC in 2006, Brad has been involved with agricultural policy at the provincial and national level. Brad came to ACMA from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada where he was a Policy Officer in the Market and Industry Services Branch. Before working with AAFC, Brad worked as a policy analyst with the Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture. His experience with government and not-for-profit organizations is a good fit for Brad.
Beate Acker – Financial Services Officer
Beate joined our team in October 2010 after having worked for Pork Nova Scotia for several years. Beate has worked with several farmers and farm organizations over the past fifteen years and has developed very strong relationships within the industry. Beate provides financial and administrative support to our participating commodity groups.
Kara Saville – Program Delivery Manager
Kara came to ACMA in May, 2014 with recent banking experience as well as 15 years of customer service experience. She is originally from Nova Scotia but has spent time in Utah, USA, where she received her degree from Utah State University. Kara’s strong focus on client service and attention to detail make her a good fit for managing the delivery of the Advance Payments Program as well as on-farm programs.
Ashley Anderson – Industry Coordinator
Ashley is a recent graduate of Dalhousie Faculty of Agriculture where she majored in animal science. Before joining ACMA in November, 2017 she worked with a national farm organization delivering on-farm programming. Ashley has a strong background in office administration and event coordination, making her a great fit on the ACMA team.
